There are quite likely plenty of 'scrubs' that effectively exfoliate without causing trauma to the skin, but I feel the majority of offenders have ruined it for everyone! Having said that - this miracle worker uses bamboo and rice powder to gently smooth and resurface and leaves no damage or redness whatsoever. The powder is so consistently fine, the ingredients so gentle and effective! After 10 years I can't beat it. Any bridal client of mine will have been subject to this exfoliator during their trial and I still use it regularly before makeup application due to the lack of downtime. If left on the skin for more than 15 minutes, like a mask, you will also experience the benefits of chemical exfoliation from the salacylic acid. Expensive, yes... but you only need half a teaspoon - and certainly not every day like they recommend.
